Im wanting to learn high fashion makeup and airbrushing! Ive been looking into different courses and i think ive found one that seems pretty cool :-) It's In Hollywood, LA By an Artist named Kimberley Bosso, Her website really sparked my interest... www.kbosso.com ! It's a 4 day class with only 4 students and you get a certificate after the course. It cost $2500 If anyone knows anything about this I could use some advise??? Thank you.
P.s. Do you have to be a licensed Ess. To become a Makeup Artist?
I loooooooooved this makeup course! she is such a great artist and teacher and super nice. I came in from NYC to take it and had such a fun time with her and the models and learned so much in 4 days! I'm really glad I learned from her because she took the time to teach us everything, breaks it down really well, and paid attention to details which made me more aware with my application technique. I was looking into expensive schools in La, and all of them I had to attend around 3 or 4 weeks which I would have had to take off of work so to do it in 4 long days was perfect for my situation. There wwere 2 students when I took it, which was GREAT! My favorite was the contouring for fashion runway and the bridal makeup. Gorgeous! and the HD makeup for red carpet too. I've never done airbrushing before and thought it was fascinating how perfect the skin looks. I got used to the gun pretty fast and I'm going to buy my compressor and gun real soon so I can start doing it on shoots. i'm not an aestitician and know that theres no link to being a makeup artist.
