I need help deciding where I can get the best training

I want to do both esthetics and makeup artistry, but I'm confused as to where I need to go to get the makeup artistry training because I've been told that esthetics schools, although they do teach makeup, the training is VERY basic, which is not what I'm looking for. Any advice would be helpful!

That was my concern too rosebud. I wanted to learn makeup artistry but didn't want to pay high cost in a cosmetology school and learn just basic makep. After some heavy research, I came across a website and makeup artist that offers an intense 4 day training in LA. All the info is at www.kbosso,com
I flew to LA and took this course and just loved it!! The best descision I made yet. I learned a ton of makeup techniques in all phases of the industry. In the end I recieved a professional certificate in makeup and airbrush makeup too. gotta love that! The teachers name is Kimberly Bosso and I have to say, she knows what she's talking about when it comes to makeup and the industry, and her skill level is priceless. I learned so much and took so muich knowledge of makeup with me back home. Glad I learned from a pro that works currently in the industry and got cutting edge techniques.
If you want someone sincere, impeccable makeup training, at a real decent price, I'd take her course. Shoot...I wish I could take it again, it was so much fun!! Too bad I had to fly home at the end of the course, because she offered for me to assist her on a red carpet event that I had to miss!!! I was bummed... but wihen I'm back in L.A. I will be able to anytime. Its what she offers all her former students. cool! I rate this makeup course A+++!!
