Inquiry on Cosmetology tution fee

hi guys,

I am looking to pursue my career in Cosmetology. Last week I did visit one of the beauty schools to get some details. The cost of the entire course stated by them was 20,000. I am not too sure if this is the typical course fee for a cosmetology program? Any suggestions?

Cosmetology course DO vary in

Cosmetology course DO vary in tuition quite a bit. Hopefully there are several beauty schools in your area that you can check out. Visit several as many as you can before you make a decision.

You may also find that if you choose an area like nail technology or esthetics to specialize in, those programs can be less expensive and also faster to complete than an overall cosmetology program. I do believe 20,000 is on the high end of most cosmetology programs, so hopefully you can find some options that cost less than that at other schools.
