Need some advice.

Hello everyone, I am new into the Beauty School Industry and I had a couple questions. I am looking into studying to become a Makeup Artist Technician, but I am not sure where to start, what schools to look at, classes to take, etc. So if anyone out there can help me get started, I would really appreciate it!

I used my old Abq zip code
I used my old Abq zip code (87109) and got plenty of cosmetology schools, but no makeup schools. Possibly it didn't come up under makeup schools because Rio Rancho is a little too far from Albuquerque to show up in the listings. But if you go to that link above, it's got the makeup school I was talking about listed!
PS - How is Albuquerque's weather? Right about this time in KC, I reeeeeeeeeally start to miss New Mexico, hehe.

Oh, that is understandable, thank you! haha Actually, it is quite beautiful now, however last week it got down in the 40s on account of rainy weather.

Hi, Steffani! There is one makeup school in New Mexico in the Rio Rancho area called Callus that has a specific makeup program. However, if you are at all interested in pursuing a comprehensive cosmetology program that includes makeup classes, you might consider a New Mexico cosmetology school like Olympian, Aladdin or Aveda! You can actually search for those beauty schools to the right on this site and get more information from them.
